New Domain Pricing

Since opening our doors way back in January 2012 (has it been that long already?), we’ve always provided domain name registration and transfer service for our customers. Since then, we’ve constantly made minor adjustments to our domain offerings so that we can always give our customers what they want.

Beginning this month, we’re rolling out our new all-inclusive domain registration pricing. For all .com, .net, and .org domains, our rate for transfers, renewals, and registrations is a flat $15 / year. That’s it: no hidden costs, no surcharges, no “convenience fees”. Just one simple, easy-to-figure-out rate.

We’re also going to continue including private registration at no additional charge. This helps keep your personal information (name, address, phone number, and email address) out of the hands of spammers and other ne’er-do-wells. We’re big fans of security and privacy, so even though many domain registrars charge an extra fee for this, we’re keeping it free.

We’ve also added multi-year registration to the mix. When we first opened our doors way back in January 2012, we weren’t sure how big of a role domain registration would play, so we wanted to keep things simple. We initially limited domain registrations and transfers for just one year at a time. But effective today, you can register or transfer a domain for up to five years at a time. Boom.

Finally, we’re dropping some of the less-popular top-level domains (TLDs) from our everyday ordering page. The overwhelming majority of our domain registrations are for .com / .net / .org domains, so for the moment, we’re focusing primarily on them. We have access to just about every TLD on the market (including novelty TLDs like .rocks and .actor), and we’ll be adding them to our ordering page in due time. If you have a special project coming up and want a quote on a TLD you don’t see listed, by all means drop us a line!
