How to Upload Files to GoDaddy Web Hosting

1. Start a web browser, browse and sign-in to your Go Daddy account. Open your FTP client and enter the username and password of your GoDaddy account. You can use the built-in GoDaddy FTP client if you want to avoid using a third-party FTP client, but this is not suggested for large files. To access the Go to “Hosting” under “My Products” to access the GoDaddy FTP client. Press “Manage Account through your hosting account. Under “Content”, click “FTP Client.”

2. Click the “Web Hosting” link and click “Launch” under the domain name of your hosting account. 6. Double-click a file in the browsing window to select it. You can hold the “Ctrl” key, choose multiple files, then click “Open.”

7. To transfer your website files to the hosting server Go Daddy, click “Upload”.

8. Visit your domain name to see if the files have been uploaded correctly. Under most cases, if you do not see any updates, your page should be live instantly. Refresh your browser. Click on any link, especially internal links, to see if they work properly. If they don’t work, go back to the raw HTML file and correct it as needed.
