Here's a checklist to ensure you have everything necessary for a smooth and successful installation:

A brief (several sentences) printed summary. This should include your name, order number, phone number, and a brief listing of any instructions needed to install your equipment.

Cat 5e or better Ethernet cable between one (1) and three (3) feet in length.

Appropriate power cable between one (1) and three (3) feet in length. If you have ordered redundant power connections, be sure to include two cables.

Sliding rails suitable for installation in a full-depth four-post 19” rack, including all hardware necessary to attach the rails to your server.

A minimum of eight (8) post lugs and screws (size M6). We will not rack servers with M5 screws.
Be sure to clearly label the appropriate Ethernet ports on your server. If you've ordered more than one network connection, include documentation clearly stating which port gets connected to which IP range. Please note that if you ship unacceptable cables (such as cables that are too short, too long, or visibly damaged), we may replace them with appropriate cables at your expense at the rate of $5 per cable, regardless of type. We really hate doing this, so please take care to send the correct cables.
