How much can I earn? Print

  • 43

The amount of service credit you earn is based on the hosting portion of the referred customer's first invoice.  For example, if a customer orders a $29.99 VPS, a $15.99 control panel, and a $39.99 management option, your referral credit will be based only on the $29.99 portion of the invoice.

  • Shared hosting packages earn 20% of the client's first invoice
  • VPS packages earn 15% of the client's first invoice
  • Dedicated servers earn 5% of the client's first invoice
There are no referral credits earned for domain name registrations or transfers, SSL certificates, backup services, management services, or any other service not listed above.  If the customer uses a discount promo code (such as 10% off), then your referral credit amount will be deducted by the amount of that promo code.

For example, imagine you've just referred a customer named Chris:

  • If Chris orders the Premium Roast shared hosting ($14.99) on a month-to-month plan, your referral credit would be $3.00 (20% of $14.99).
  • If Chris orders the Premium Roast shared hosting on an annual plan ($164.89), your referral credit would be $32.99 (20% of $164.89).
  • If Chris orders the Pourover VPS ($69.99) on a month-to-month plan, your referral credit would be $10.50 (15% of $69.99).
  • If Chris orders the Pourover VPS on an annual plan ($769.89), your referral credit would be $115.48 (15% of $769.89).
  • If Chris orders the French Press VPS ($49.99), cPanel ($15.99), and Full Management ($29.99) on a month-to-month plan, your referral credit would be $7.50 (15% of $49.99, which is the VPS portion of the invoice).
  • If Chris orders the French Press VPS ($49.99), cPanel ($15.99), and Full Management ($29.99) on an annual plan ($1055.67), your referral credit would be $82.48 (15% of $549.89, which is the VPS portion of the invoice).
  • If Chris orders the Colossal dedicated server ($459.99) on an annual plan ($5059.89), your referral credit would be $240.34.
There are no limits to how much you can earn the the program!  If you earn over $600 in any given year, we'll need your Social Security number to report to the IRS.
