Can I run Java applications?

Yes! Unlike some cheap VPS providers, all of our VPSes use virtualization from the Xen Project.  Xen is a mature virtualization platform that is renowned for its stability and performance, especially when running Java applications. This is due in large part to the fact that we never oversell memory or disk space on our VPS nodes. As a result, if your VPS has 4 GB of memory, you're actually able to use all 4 GB for yourself. And memory-sensitive applications – like Java – love this!
